Thank you for stopping by. My name is Christian Cruz-Ayala. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have been in the helping profession for over 7 years. This is a journey that has been personally and professionally rewarding. Helping others has been a passion of mine and has brought me much growth and experience.

I have acquired experience working with the substance abuse population, children, adolescents/teenagers, young adults, parents, and individuals in a crisis unit. 

My main focus has been to help individuals grow, cope with anxiety, cope with depression, adjust to changes, manage stress, and with any other difficulties that can affect an individual’s stability. 

I am one who believes in the philosophy that life is a journey rather than a destination. Life throws many things at us through our journey, but what is more important is how we respond to what life has thrown at us. To be able to do this, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral approaches, Solution Focused approaches, trauma-informed therapy, and motivational interviewing. I use an eclectic approach, utilizing theories and teachings to help the individual learn to respond to life. I like to teach individuals how to manage their own symptoms and give them the tools to help them. I’m a strong believer that whatever you put into this world is what you will get out of it.

My passion is to help individuals grow and become the best version of themselves. I want to help you define what it is to be you and how you can make a change in your own life. I often describe the journey of counseling as us both taking a stroll and once you grow to a point you feel comfortable, then you continue on your own path. I am an honest and down to earth therapist. I try to be transparent and not sugar coat things. Instead of going around the bush I want to go straight into it and get you to a point where you can manage any current difficulties.
